DIRECT AND INDIRECT LIGHT LAMP

Tempo

Reading lamp with diffused light

DESIGNER:

ROBERTO DE SANTI

Segments of light

DESIGN

The lamp unfolds through a dynamic geometric structure, where a rectangular profile extends in two directions: one inclined vertically and the other perpendicular. These two segments contain the light, each with a distinct character — one diffuses light gently, while the other emits it with greater intensity and movement.

PERSONALITY

Inspired by two conceptual cuts — the horizontal of Uranus, the Sky, and the vertical of Gaia, the Earth — Tempo embodies the dualism of existence and the eternal tension between balance and transformation.
The rotating arm and the inclination of the support generate a shifting light, symbolizing the
impossibility of defining time.
More than just a lamp, it is a living entity, in constant interaction with the space and with those who observe it.

CRAFTSMANSHIP

The NA and BA finishes are achieved through an anodizing process with aluminum pigmentation — an exclusive treatment that enhances the lamp’s design.
The LB (Light Blue) finish was developed for contemporary spaces: a color with metallic pigments that shifts from grey to light blue depending on the surrounding light.
